I had the privilege of attending the recent MD&M West conference and had the opportunity to speak with more than 60 attendees. It was the best show I’ve been to in more than two decades, which truly surprised me. Well attended and engaging, anyone walking the hall had the opportunity of speaking with decision makers in nearly every one of the 1,700 booths in attendance.
I took the opportunity to visit with Contract Manufacturers, Engineering companies, Design & Development firms and a variety of components manufacturers that were exhibiting. I asked a single question, “What are your plans for AI?”
The responses I heard were remarkably consistent:
We know we need to do something.
We know we need to do something sooner rather than later.
We don’t know where to begin.

That last point is understandable. The AI startups splashing onto the scene are creating an enormous amount of noise. So much so that the cacophony is drowning out clarity on exactly where one should begin. The market is also fragmented, and much of it public, which will only contribute to additional data silos and places your sensitive, company data at risk.
That’s where we can help.
